This post builds on the content of the previous newsletter (16 May 2025) titled ‘The Leadership Practice with Big Impact: Intentional Workplace Conversations’.

In the thick of workplace change, one thing becomes clear: transformation doesn’t happen through strategy decks or all-staff emails alone. It happens—or doesn’t—through conversations. Honest, ongoing, two-way conversations that make space for questions, concerns, and co-creation.

Yet too often, these vital conversations are left to chance. People leaders are expected to "cascade" messages, but without a clear structure, they may hesitate, miss the moment, or run out of time. And their teams? Left wondering what’s really going on.

How can we be more intentional and focused during our conversations about change with our teams?
